However, now that the full list of nominations has been announced, there are some pretty cool picks in among the more predictable choices. Some of my favourites include Jesse Eisenberg getting a nod for Best Actor in The Social Network, Hailee Steinfeld for Best Supporting Actress in True Grit, and John Hawkes for Best Supporting Actor for Winter’s Bone. Even Exit through the Gift Shop and Gas Land managed to get nominated for Best Documentary.
