The dead include a man who shot at deputies and a woman believed to be a teenager, Deputy Scott Wilson of the Sheriff's Office told reporters. The young woman died after being taken to a Tacoma hospital.

Both deputies were shot in the torso, said Mark Fulghum of the Tacoma Police Department.
