Idol runs down the awesomeness of Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez – hey, they’re qualified, whatya know? Oh yeah, and there’s Randy Jackson too.
More people auditioned than ever before… first up, let’s look at New Jersey.
Rachel Zevita auditioned in season 6 and was cut first day of Hollywood. Sang “Hallelujah” – Jennifer says that this wasn’t the best audition, but she knows she can sing. Steven says he thinks she’s got it, but needs to redirect it. She’s through to Hollywood.
Caleb Hawley – Steven Tyler sings along and he loves it. Jennifer likes the tone of his voice; Randy was a fan too… all vote him through to Hollywood.
Kenzie Palmer, 15 –American Idol 2011 Premiere: Season 10 New York, New Jersey Auditions Recap she’s in a performing art school and into musical theater. Steven said she sang beautifully, but wasn’t feeling the pizzazz. Jennifer disagreed, but Randy seemed to side with Steven.
A series of yes answers, but we don’t get to hear their auditions.
