Marshall Faulk waited years to taste winning in the National Football League level, but once he find a home in St. Louis his place as one of the game's all-time greats was secure.
Faulk was one of seven men elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame Saturday night on the eve of Super Bowl XLV.
Although his career was cut short by injuries, Faulk enjoyed some of the most productive seasons of any running back in league history.
He burst onto the scene with the Colts, rushing for over 1,200 yards during his rookie season in 1994.
Then the wheels fell of Faulk, literally.

Traded to the Rams following that season, Faulk quickly showcased remarkable versatility in Mike Martz's uptempo passing attack.
He rushed for at least 1,300 yards in his first three seasons in St. Louis, but his true impact came as Kurt Warner's outlet in the passing game.
Faulk helped Warner and the Rams edge the Tennessee Titans in Super Bowl XXXIV.
